CyberDeck Tailwind Dashboard
Hacking the Mainframe
I had a ton of fun creating this mock dashboard with Tailwind CSS in Web Design and Useability 2. The purpose was to create a dashboard concept using Tailwind CSS. I kept on with my habit of creating something that is unique and a bit quirky. It was a great way to learn how Tailwind CSS could be used to rapidly prototype a design, and having a very limited amount of time to work on this meant I had to be confident in my design choices.
Does it Come in Black?
My color scheme was inspired by Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I've always loved its black and gold aesthetic! I decided to lean into the cyberpunk theme for this project, not only with the art direction but with the mock content inside. Each project is based off of a piece of cyberpunk media, with Deus Ex, Bladerunner, and Cyberpunk 2077 all appearing. I even found a cyberpunk version of lorem ipsum to populate my text fields!
Like Tears in Rain
Keeping all the Tailwind code readable was a great challenge and really forced me to label my divs well and pay attention to indendation. This project was just as much about using Tailwind properly as it was formatting the code correctly.
